STEP-UP

Low-voltage power supplies/converters in the STEP-UP range are suitable for obtaining higher voltages than the input voltage. Their typical application involves, for currents of 3-6A, a lower rated input voltage converted to a higher output voltage, perhaps to connect to a 12Vdc battery and then power a 24Vdc PLC.
