EN54-4 certified auxiliary power supply for fire-fighting systems.

The range of new EN54-4-certified auxiliary power supplies for firefighting systems consists of two models: SFP120W and SFP240W, available in black or white and certified for currents up to 5A and 10A and for use with batteries up to 40Ah.

The two models are certified according to EN 54-4:1997 + A1:2002 + A2:2006.

SFP54_4_internal
DC-UPSs CBI245A (SFP120W) and CBI2410A (SFP240W) are installed inside the panels. The DC-UPS are equipped with advanced charging curves and internal battery impedance control that enable extended battery life. DC-UPS protect batteries from deep discharge by promptly signaling the low battery alarm.

In the event of a grid failure, CBI devices automatically switch the battery to the load without any output interruption.
Both models are integrated with the new MRF102 2-channel electronic fuse, which allows the operator to set load protection currents from 1A to 10A.

Installed on the outside of the panels is the DPY353 display, which reports the operation of the auxiliary power supply and allows the operator to monitor the charge and health status of the connected batteries.

Any DC-UPS model can be installed inside the SFP panels, ensuring an EN54-4 and 12101-10 compliant solution.

Monitoring unit

Outside the SFP panel, the DPY351 display unit can also be integrated, which is designed for intensive use with an IP67 level of protection. The DPY351 allows the user to manage multiple DC-UPS units as well as monitor, configure, store and connect remotely via ETHERNET TCP/IP and SNMP communication protocol.

Gateways and Protocols

DPY351 is a powerful tool in addition to being a gateway:

  • HTTP Web Server for device configuration and management via Ethernet with dynamic or static IP
  • Modbus TCP/IP Ability to configure a set of default values. Allow unique identification of the unit in the network
  • SNMP v2c A list of parameters of connected devices is provided that can be viewed remotely or with SNMP. Each parameter (OID), is marked one by one to a Modbus RTU register
  • MQTT Allows the DPY351 to connect to the ADELView System Cloud for remote power monitoring of devices connected to the DPY using Modbus or CANbus

Software

Suite for remote monitoring and management of the device connected in ADELBus network or in the Cloud. You can monitor and configure the device for months/years, e.g. history log, data log, etc.

Accessories

  • RJTemp, temperature measurement for the CBI line.
  • The DPY351 can measure the ambient temperature and take action on its minimum and maximum values.
